We will be travelling by boat from The Peninsula to our welcome party.
Please gather at the hotel promptly at 6 PM. The last boat will leave at 6:30 PM.

Please enjoy the day at leisure before we welcome everyone for a pre-ceremony drink in the Herb Garden at 4PM. The ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing will follow. All wedding day events will take place in the grounds of The Peninsula.

  • Turkey may be neighbours with countries in the midst of chaos but they are an active member of NATO and have a neutral relation at minimum with all our neighbours and it is safe to travel to.

  • Due to venue capacity, only those named on the invitation are invited.

  • If your child is of school age, they will be named on invitation. If you would like to bring your baby or toddler, please inform us ahead of time

  • All events will take place at The Peninsula, apart from the welcome party, which we will provide transport to from The Peninsula.

  • Turkey is a secular country that does not have a dress code. The only places that have a dress code are mosques and other religious facilities. The dress code for visiting mosques is similar to that for churches or other religious buildings. Women should enter with a veil covering their shoulders and hair, and their legs should not be fully exposed. You should dress modestly in knee-length dresses, long skirts, or pants. It is usually possible to borrow or purchase a head covering at the most popular mosques in Istanbul. If you plan to visit mosques, it's a good idea to take a regular scarf in your bag which you can easily drape over your head and shoulders.
